Mathematical Software Developer

Creme Software Ltd is looking for exceptional software developers who enjoy being part of a young, city-centre-based company that is expanding rapidly.

Creme requires a mathematical software engineer to develop the back-end software for our Web 2.0 Risk Analysis applications.

Requirements:

Technical Skills:

Degree in a numerate/scientific/computer-science discipline

Excellent knowledge of mathematics and statistics

Excellent knowledge of C/C++

Experience developing in a Linux environment

The following, while not essential, are highly desirable:

Experience using MySQL

Experience of Monte Carlo simulation

Experience in compiler technologies such as Lex and Yacc

Experience programming for distributed systems

Experience using Message Passing Interface (MPI)

Professional/knowledge skills:

Passion for excellent customer experience, and for technology

Strong inter-personal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment

Strong communications skills, verbal and written

Ability to interpret business requirements effectively

Self-starter and ability to research and understand new technologies

Track record of achieving results in a challenging environment

Fluency in the English language is required

Remuneration:
