Mathematical Software Developer

Creme Software Ltd is a rapidly expanding company with global clients. Creme is looking for an exceptional mathematical software developer who would enjoy being part of a young, Dublin city-centre-based company.

The role requires a mathematical software engineer to help develop the back-end software for our Risk Analysis applications.

Requirements:

Technical Skills:

Honours degree in a numerate/scientific/computer-science discipline

Excellent knowledge of mathematics and statistics

Excellent knowledge of C/C++

Experience developing in a Linux environment

The following, while not essential, are highly desirable:

Experience using Cloud Computing technologies, e.g. Amazon EC2

Experience programming for distributed systems

Experience in Web applications and programming APIs

Experience using MPI

Experience using Pthreads or OpenMP

Experience of Monte Carlo simulation

Experience using MySQL

Systems Administration experience

Professional/knowledge skills:

High level of attention to detail for coding and data analysis

Passion for excellent customer experience, and for technology

Strong inter-personal skills and ability to work effectively independently and in a team

Strong communications skills, verbal and written

Ability to interpret technical and business requirements effectively

Self-starter and ability to research and understand new technologies

Track record of exceeding goals in a challenging environment

Fluency in the English language is required

Remuneration:

Negotiable. DOE.
