Cronan spent 5 years in the Trinity Centre for High Performance Computing (TCHPC) developing the science and technology that underpins CREMe. With a background in Physics and commercial experience in Financial Risk Analysis with Merrill Lynch Capital Markets Bank, Cronan has adapted the methods and technologies for financial risk analysis to the food, cosmetics and environmental safety sector.

Cronan is a sports fan and enjoys playing tennis and soccer in his spare time.

Audrey has a strong track record in operations, finance and project management and has worked on more than a dozen applied research projects in her previous role as Business and Development Manager of TCHPC. Audrey is responsible for HR and business management.

Audrey enjoys swimming and taking long walks in the Wicklow mountains.

With a degree in Theoretical Physics, an M.Sc. in High Performance Computing and a keen interest and understanding of emerging technologies, David brings all the skills necessary to lead the technology department of this high tech company.

David has delivered world-class web-applications whilst working on the research that has lead to the commercialisation of CREMe.

Prof. Gibney, M. Agr. Sc., Ph. D., is the former President of the Nutrition Society and is now in charge of the Human Nutrition Unit at University College Dublin. He served on the EU Scientific Committee for Food from 1985 to 1997 and then chaired the BSE working group as a member of the Scientific Steering Committee of the EU from 1997 to 2000.

Prof. Gibney's research interests lie in metabolic and molecular nutrition, in public health nutrition and in probabilistic risk analysis. He is presently the coordinator of a major EU funded research project on the metabolic syndrome, Lipgene.

With a degree in statistics, nutrition and dietetics and a Ph. D. in food safety and exposure assessment from Trinity College Dublin, Edel is a recognised leader in the field of packaging migrant exposure assessment worldwide.

Edel enjoys representing Ireland in canoe polo.
